First, I don’t normally disagree with other responders on Yahoo Answers as they are welcome to their own thoughts on the process of Internet Marketing.

However, I need to wonder how a person plans on building a "successful" website without starting at the foundation of SEO. It’s like trying to drive a porsh without a steering wheel. I’m sure it can be done, but why?

SEO is not that complicated especially if you do it the bum marketing way. However your question is not directly about SEO but rather how to succeed with Video Search engines.

I can boil that down to one phrase – "long tail keywords" but not just any long tail keywords, rather those that are built on the back of bum marketing.

As it relates to video directories, you would want to be sure to have your selected keyword phrase chosen from following the above process set as…

* One of your tags
* In the description of your video
* As part of the URL you refer people too
* And whereever else that directory allows you to put the bum marketed long tail keyword phrase at.
