Media playing hardrive 500gb+?

I have been told that there is such a product on the market. the Hardrive attaches to the tv directly via the scart plug- one can browse , select and play any of the files on the harddrive through tthe TV- can someone point me in the right direction.

yes there is a hard disk an external drive at the same time it's a DivX player where as you can connect it your TV through Audio/Video Jack Cable(it comes in the package). It's called DivX player it has many variations like 120 GB and up.

it all depends on connections from the hard drive to the tv and wether the tv is a montitor (lcd, plasma, hd) or a standard tv and if the hard drive has been formatted correctly.
