Earning Income From your Podcast

One Free WordPress Plugin Doubled My Blogs Traffic and My List Size

Are you looking to earn money from your podcasting hobby? Do you own your own domain? Does your podcast have a website that you control? Are you directing traffic back to your site from your podcast’s RSS feed? Do you know who your listeners are?

The ability to earn a steady stream of income from your podcast is a potential possibility for many podcasters. Most podcasters have very few costs associated with production, and all revenues earned will be mostly profits. Let’s review some ideas on how to exercise your podcast’s financial possibilities.

Incremental income can be earned from your podcast’s website using advertising programs such as Google AdSense, or ClickBank. Both of the preceding advertising programs are a Pay-Per-Click (PPC) style of advertisements. When your visitors click on an ad, you get paid. PPC advertisement is fine and dandy, and can generate you hundreds of dollars per month if you are successful, but there are also many affiliate programs that pay you commission on sales and leads generated from your website. These programs can be very successful for a podcaster who receives a decent amount of traffic from your website, as you can pick and choose what you would like to advertise on your website. How well do you know your listeners? Knowing your listeners will allow you to know what they will most likely want to look at or buy. Affiliate programs can be found on many websites, or may be managed by other websites such as Commission Junction, or LinkShare.

Donations are a simple way to collect money from the website of your podcast. Several podcasters have found success from asking for donations from their website visitors. There are many people who are more than glad to make a $5 or $10 donation to shows, which they may often “religiously” listen to. A blogger who I have known for years once told me that she would never put up a donation button on her blog because it was the equivalent of panhandling, and she refused to take part. Upon pressure from myself, and a few others, she reluctantly put up a donation button, and to her surprise she was happy to find that she earned a few hundred dollars over the course of the year strictly from donations. A donation button is a wonderful way to add earning power to your podcast, and no one should think of it as e-Panhandling. In fact, a donation button is a great way for those who get so much from a podcast to give back just a little.

Corporate Sponsorships are for those who are looking to earn more than just spending money from their podcasting hobby. The value of a podcast is simply based on how many active subscribers that it has, and the more subscribers that the podcast has, the greater it’s value becomes for commercial sponsorships. There is no simple formula for obtaining corporate sponsorships, the simple advice would be to publish well produced podcasts, keep count of your listeners, maintain a clean and functional website, and be sure to add contact information on your website for those who may be interested in sponsoring your podcast. No podcast success story is more known to up and coming podcasters than MommyCast, the podcast for mothers. Two women from Virginia managed to pull in major corporate sponsorships for their podcast, and they found success.

As the number of podcasts continues to increase, their value as an advertisement medium also continues to increase, and as that value increases so does the potential to begin earning serious income from your podcast.

How To Revise Your PLR Content And What To Do With It

One Free WordPress Plugin Doubled My Blogs Traffic and My List Size

Many website and business owners choose to purchase articles from another source to save time and funds writing fresh content in-house. A popular avenue for purchasing is private label rights (PLR) or buying articles that are basically ghostwritten that come packaged with rights to use them however you’d like.

Some popular ways to revise and use PLR content are:

1) When you use the articles to advertise your products or services, it may be better to break the articles down into several smaller ones that consumers can review quickly. Because you own the articles, you can edit them in any way you choose…so add a photo or graphic and even audio and a video clip to spruce them up a bit.

2) If you’ve hired someone to ghostwrite your PLR articles just for you, you have the option of using them just as they are. All you need to do is to add your name and byline and you are well on your way to becoming a success. This can help bring in traffic and income. If the articles are well written, you are well on your way to building a solid reputation in your field.

3) Package some of your PLR content and create information products: ecourses, print and electronic downloadable guides, reports, ebooks, tutorials, autoresponder series and more.

4) Monetize your content by placing it online on web pages, blogs, in forums where article posting or snippets are allowed, in emails and autoresponders – and adding Google™ Adsense with it or banner ads, affiliate links, ebook covers for Clickbank products linked to your affiliate sales page and other money-making avenue streams.

5) Interview industry experts and your own clients and turn your content into interview pieces and case studies for your sites and reports. Insert their photos and audio video testimonials, too.

6) Add your own content – other PLR content, other ghostwritten content, public domain content, co-authored content. Expand what you have and take it further.

7) Do joint ventures with others: create PLR packages together, advertise to each others lists, exchange links, etc.

8) Package your PLR – -create up-sells or packages where people can purchase the ebook, the ebook with audio and video, and all items with extra Bonus items like a guide and report that all go together.

The key is to make sure everything goes together well with your PLR content. I.E. you don’t want to see a dog training guide with a web hosting package. Keep like things in mind.

Is luciddeals.com a scam?

One Free WordPress Plugin Doubled My Blogs Traffic and My List Size

Sorry this is so lengthy. Tends to happen when I have a lot of fire behind what I am writing about. But if you want the dl on this site I believe this is a good review. But I would still like answers from others for my question.

I have been going through all these forums reading this is a scam blah blah. I will give that some people are doing some research on it, actually checking out the site etc. But most of the people claiming scam are doing so because you have to do an offer and refer 5 friends. This doesn’t make it a scam. It makes it shisty because they don’t tell you up front, but not a scam. It’s actually really easy to do. And nobody has any personal experience. Nobody has tried it. So I did…

I created a new email so I wouldn’t flood my own. signed up. Did the funpass offer since it was a free one, waited for confirmation (about 30 seconds) then clicked checkout. now the screen says refer 5 friends (who also have to complete an offer). I created emails for 5 of my friends and convinced them to do it. Now my screen says "Confirmed Friends: 5/5" but when I click checkout it tells me "continue to refer your friends!"

I sent them an email evening 4/22 and have not heard back, but I will give them a couple days anyway. I looked deeper into their terms and conditions and found some very very shisty stuff:

I made a condensed conclusion/analysis of these statements at the end if you don’t want to take the time. But they have a new “ wow” effect.

“WE PROVIDE THE SERVICE AND THE CONTENT ON AN "AS IS," AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND”
So the service could be flawed broken etc. but it is “AS IS” and it could no longer be available in the blink of an eye. “CONTENT” most likely means the content on the webpage (statements, picture, etc.). However, it could be taken to include the products they sell. Then the same goes for the products as the service and your item could be anything from perfectly new to broken or unavailable when you go to pay for it.

Can skip between the bold but read A,B,C
“NEITHER WE NOR OUR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, THIRD PARTY VENDORS, FACILITIES, INFORMATION PROVIDERS, LICENSORS, OR OTHER SUPPLIERS PROVIDING DATA, INFORMATION, OR SERVICES (EACH A "PROVIDER") MAKE ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY: (A) AS TO THE TIMELINESS, SEQUENCE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY OF THE CONTENT OR THE SERVICE OR ANY INFORMATION, SERVICE OR TRANSACTION PROVIDED THEREBY, OR (B) THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE OR WILL OPERATE IN AN UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE MANNER, OR (C) THAT ERRORS OR DEFECTS RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED. WE ALSO DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICE OR THE CONTENT IS APPROPRIATE, ACCURATE OR AVAILABLE FOR USE IN ANY PARTICULAR JURISDICTION. THIS DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY CONSTITUTES AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THIS AGREEMENT”
A) This is an evil, legal, make as broad as possible to get me off hook statement. One of those statements that is made possible by our lovely US legal system but should be completely illegal (another paper and time). Some key points: “TIMELINESS” They can take forever (literally) to ship your item or even approve any step of the process. “ACCURACY” The product description could be wrong, they could all of the sudden say “actually along with what you have already done you also have to do this” and claim that the accuracy of their statement was wrong, could claim that their price is wrong. “RELIABILITY” really? Wow. So basically they state that they claim no reliability. That translates to “I’m not reliable” in my book.
B) Again the service may not be available all of the sudden. Or, as in my case, the service a not work properly
C) This is icing on the cake that is B. This says that if anything is wrong they don’t have to fix it. So if the service doesn’t work or a description is wrong they don’t have to fix it. So in my case they don’t have to fix the problem I am having.
This statement opens their horizons to a point where they can do just about anything

“We may terminate this Agreement or cease offering the Service, at any time and for any reason in our sole discretion”
Again reinforcing the fact that the can shut this down at any moment. This it a lot more clear though. Basically, they could say “too bad” and you wouldn’t get your item no matter how far into the process you are. They actually wouldn’t have to say anything.

This basically says we can scam you. They can shut down at any moment so you cannot get you item no matter how far into the process you are. The product you are getting may not be the product described. The can wait forever (literally) to ship your item. Their service may not work properly and they don’t have to fix (which obviously it doesn’t work as in my case). The pretty much claim they are not reliable. Re
Legitebiz posts a good explanation of how it is possible for them to sell these things at such a low price.

That does sound like a scam to me.

How to Make Magic With an Old Book From the Public Domain!

One Free WordPress Plugin Doubled My Blogs Traffic and My List Size

Secrets abound in magic and stories about magical happenings, all over the world. What’s more they have continued to do so since time immemorial. There is probably no greater thirst for information about how to live an endless life of health and happiness, than there is for information about the many facets of magic and magicians, dating back as far as you and I can remember.

Modern Magicians such as Paul Daniels learned virtually all of their Magic Tricks from Old Books and the magician’s union “The Magic Circle” probably takes most of its magic tricks fromdecades or even centuries old books about magic.

Just doing a search on ebay for “magic”, “magic book”, or “magician” will return you with a ton of results. Old Books on magic are among the most sought after in the whole world, no matter what language they are written in or what country they came from. For some reason the two little words “magic trick” seem to conjure up an interest in almost every single one of us. It does not seem to matter how old we grow because virtually all of us seem to have an affinity with magic tricks and conjuring in general.

Even card tricks can be classed among the “magic” and “wonder” when seen operated by someone with a clever sleight of the hand. Now before you say to yourself… … What’s all this got to do with online marketing? Let me tell you the secret to earning a massive amount of money on a regular basis from Historic Books on Magic Tricks, Card Tricks, Illusions and other so called methods for conjuring in general.

It is extremely simple to do and very straightforward to make an automatic online income from after the initial easy setup.

1) Find or Purchase an Old Book from the Public Domain about magic tricks, card tricks or similar material.

2) Simply scan or copy the pages, along withany images or illustrations into a computer.

3) Using the computerised version which you have now created, re-word if necessary any out of date language, into modern language which is more easily readable.

4) Update any illustrations so that they are clear and easy to comprehend.

5) Change the Title if you wish, to create more interest, using modern keywords which you can locate on google or another keyword research tool.

6) Place the chapters into a logical, step by step order if necessary, for simplified reading.

7) Convert to a “PDF” or portable document file… this is a simple one step push button process, using one of the many free “PDF” Creators available online for easy download to your computer.

8) Sell your “New Product” on clickbank as a digital item, or sell as a printed book or Cd on ebay. (Note) ebay does not allow digital downloads any longer.

9) Give out “Review Copies” free to selected marketers, who will quite happily promote your book, in return for promoting their products.

10) If you so wish, in order to increase your income by large margins, let others become your affiliates and resell your products on your behalf on a commission basis using their own affiliate links to your books.

Old Books on magic and card tricks can be extremely lucrative! Also conjuring tricks and illusions found in the Public Domain can be very worthwhile updating into the 21st century.

Many of these illusions and tricks being carried out by modern artists such as Derren Brown, have been taken by these people from the Public Domain and reformatted for their money making ventures.

Millions are currently being made all over the world from Historic Books and other products taken from Old Magic Books in the Public Domain. You can join them with very little advance knowledge.
