Are the Scam Reviews a Scam

Automated Blogging

When it comes to marketing in today’s world, a lot has changed. Everyone has a program that will make you rich, or at least they claim it will. Recently I came across a review on BBBreviews.org whose basic topic was EDC Gold. I found it informative and an honest opinion of the writer.

But when you start looking into things a little deeper, and actually do your homework – you might learn a few things. Here’s what I have noticed over the past 5 months on the internet:

To begin with there are thousands calling EDC Gold a scam. You buy software for $297 or $997 and refer others to come in to the program under you. Basically it is a multi-level marketing plan just like any other affiliate program out there. The only difference is they have a higher price tag. One thing that intrigues me though is that many say you aren’t really purchasing a product, that you are just buying into the program. I actually have found proof and need to disagree with this statement.

I have been offered to join EDC Gold quite a few times. The only reason I haven’t yet is the amount of time my other projects take up. I probably will end up joining it soon though. The main reason why I would join is due to the actual products. The software and ebooks included all come with resale rights and they include many titles.

This isn’t the first time that I have seen bundled software. I have seen plenty of other ebook packages available all over online at a much lower costs, but have also heard the complaints that the ebooks you receive are just geared towards selling you other products. Many are also out dated on the cheaper packages to where the links within many of the ebooks don’t even work. So who is scamming who?

Here’s where I can blow a huge hole in EDC Gold being a scam. I have met four different individuals online that have joined EDC Gold, and EDC Gold is not their only source of income. These four people have repackaged and regrouped the software and actually resell it online at lower prices. One has an ebay auction and has profited over $6,700 just through her auctions.

So let me ask you this. Have you ever bought a product, and then also became an affiliate of that product? We all have, and that is all the EDC Gold program is. How can something be a scam if it allows you the opportunity to make outside of their program?

Listen, there are basically two different types of marketing online. You have your MLM type marketing and your product marketing. Some consider them the same thing but they are not. If you want to sell products online, great – or if you like MLM, that is fine too. The nice thing about EDC Gold is they have actually combined the two. If you are unsuccessful with their program, you still have the resale rights to thousands of products that you can resell online and make a good profit with.

I know one guy that bundled up all the ebay items and tools included with the EDC Gold package and he sells them right online at ebay. Here’s the best part, he keeps 100% of the profits. In my opinion, the EDC Gold program itself beats many of the other programs out there that promise you a great income. I see all these other programs out there stating to make you millions online that sell for $30 to $50. And if you really think you will become rich online by getting one of these cheap programs, you need your head examined.

The bottom line is this – To make a substantial income online you need to do consistent and effective marketing period. There is no magic formula that will start making you thousands or millions by just downloading a program. Half of these cheaper programs have no support or personal guidance. That is where I have to give EDC Gold credit. Their training and marketing strategies are shared equally to everyone, nobody is at a disadvantage. I found this landing page for EDC Gold and it blew me away. Take a look at it yourself, this EDC Gold member gives out all of his personal contact information before you even view anything about the program. It is located at http://www.truesuccessleaders.com – I have to admit, that’s impressive.

EDC Gold seems to deliver what they promise, whether you want to work their program or resell their products. If you do your marketing for either, you will make money. In fact more money is being made online right now by EDC Gold members than any other program out on the market, and many are riding their success. Now I see thousands of google adwords titles with EDC Gold scam reviews. But wouldn’t you know it, when you get there they call it a scam and then pitch you their product or another product they are affiliated with. So who’s really doing the marketing scams?

What is Network Marketing?

Automated Blogging

Every day, millions of people click online for a variety of reasons. From researching information to finding a date, the internet seems to offer just about everything. Work and employment has by no means taken the back burner. Thousands of people are clamoring to the internet everyday in an attempt to earn a daily income, make some money, or get financially free. And it is being proven time and time again that “there is money to be made on the internet”.

From research projects, to software engineering, the younger and eager generation is presented with a boundless array of opportunities to show off their intellectual properties. Certainly, there is no shortage of work or possibilities online since cyberspace is “virtually” limitless.

But what about investments, network marketing and the vast array of “get rich quick” schemes? Do they really work? Can you really trade in your measly $20.00 for a comfortable paycheck of $2000.00 to $5000.00 per month? The answer is “yes and no”.

Let’s take a brief moment to examine network marketing. As a network marketer, you are selling something that you already own–a membership to a website in most cases. Let’s say you pay $19.95 to become a member of company “Make You a Star Dot Com”. Your $19.95 will be payment for the product (usually information, training and marketing tools). On top of that, you have the potential of making money by “referring others” to the company “Make You a Star Dot Com”. When they join by clicking on your affiliate link, they are placed in your “downline” and you earn a fraction of their membership fee… as well as the membership fee of the people they sponsor–up to five levels deep.

Many people are of the misconception that the membership fee of $19.95 is paid for an income opportunity alone. And that they need to sit back and wait for the checks to start coming in. Of course, it wouldn’t be off the mark to say that these people were deceived into thinking so. Many network marketers do not place emphasis on the value of the product they are selling in their advertising campaigns, or what the product really is or offers. All they tout is the potential to make money just by joining. This is an impractical proposition–if everyone pays 19.95 to receive $5000.00, where does the money come from?

A typical network marketing company may offer a cutting edge training center prepared by experts aimed at making an entrepreneur out of you. It will give you all the tools, advice and information you need to run a successful business, online or off. It may include sections for example on “setting up a legal entity”, “bookkeeping and accounting”, “ecommerce and merchant tools”, “self improvement”, “real estate” etc.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. If you join a network marketing company, by all means, make use of what you are paying for. Go into the training center, or resources section, or back office, or whatever you call it, and max it out…get your money’s worth. The “two thousand to five thousand dollars per month” will come on the side!

In order to become a successful network marketer and earn a six figure income in the least amount of time, any “Guru” will tell you that you need to understand how to use an autoresponder programmed with a newsletter, ezine or follow up emails. It is an established fact that people tend not to buy into a program on the first pitch. So if you’re thinking of investing your precious time into this lucrative field of business, think “autoresponder, follow up messages, and subscribers”. At first, learning how to use such tools might seem like a daunting task, but like most computer technology, once you get to know it, it becomes pretty simple and transparent.

A typical network marketing company will also provide training, tools and resources on how to recruit others into the company. These may include autoresponder training, Google tutorials, web design and various other advertising strategies. However, to avoid the mass of confusion and possible wastage of money associated with first starting off in network marketing, it is best to join under a successful network marketer who will show you exactly how to copy his/her success in a no-nonsense, simple and step by step process.

7 Tips To Finding A Legitimate Internet Business Opportunity

Automated Blogging

As the Internet moves forward, the number of increasing scams online make it harder to find a legitimate internet business opportunity to make money online with. It can be difficult to sort through all the hype and see which ones are for real.

You may ask yourself how do I find a legitimate internet business opportunity and pick out which ones are scams to avoid. I am going to show you seven things to look out for when searching for a legitimate internet business opportunity.

1. A Proven System – Is the business system a proven model that has been tested through time and will produce results without having to reinvent an old strategy or try new experimental marketing techniques?

2. Overly Hyped Business – You know what I’m talking about. Have you ever seen those websites with a picture of a sports car with some rich guy surrounded by women? Yes, there will always be some hype, but stay away from a business that really over does it. Stay away from any internet business opportunity that will promise you big money for little or no work on your part.

3. How Long Have They Been Around? – I would always research and find out how long a company has been around. Don’t believe what they tell you. Lookup and find out how long ago they registered their domain and this could be a good indicator of if they are lying or not. As a general rule, I would stay away from any internet business opportunity that has been around for three years or less.

4. Training & Marketing Resources – This is a very important one. Every legitimate internet business opportunity should always have the tools available for you to market your business and provide you with full support should you need help getting started. Make sure that you have access to a phone, e-mail or live chat support.

5. Reputation – Before you join any opportunity, make sure that they are with the Better Business Bureau, I-Cop or Better Internet Bureau and in good standing. There are many watchdog organizations online that protect consumers. Also search for the company name and the word “review” or “scam” and see if there are many complaints or negative reviews about them. You are always going to find someone who bad mouths somebody, but an excessive amount triggers a red flag.

6. Requires Large Investment – If you want to be successful with an internet business you are going to have to spend some money and invest in your business if you want to see a return. Not all opportunities are free, but I would look out for any scheme that asks for a very large setup fee for getting into the program. Even if a program asks for money, they should have a free trial that you can sign up for so you can try it out and see if it suits you

7. Your Own Website – If you are serious about starting your own internet business, you are going to need your own website to get started. Many legitimate internet business opportunities provide members with their own affiliate websites that you can use to promote the opportunity or product. You should also be provided with a way to capture leads for your business and have an autoresponder too follow-up with sales messages to turn your prospects into buyers.

These are my seven tips to finding a legitimate internet business opportunity. Use them as a basic guideline and do your research and I can guarantee that you will never be scammed again online. Also remember that even if you find the perfect opportunity, the success is up to you. Nobody can guarantee you success unless you take massive action and do it consistently.

Which Is Best – Guru Slayer, Whizz Kid Or Day Job Killer?

Automated Blogging

The Guru Slayer, the Day Job Killer, and the Internet Whizz Kid are supposed to be three answers to how anyone can make bucketloads of cash as an affiliate marketer. Do they work? And which is best? Should you part with your money to get one?

Don’t be put off by the names – obviously the Guru Slayer was inspired by the Day Job Killer – it is just that these guys think they need a daft name to attract attention. They are probably right. All three of these guys make a lot of money from affiliate and other sales, but that does not mean you and I can benefit from these methods. So where do we start?

I’ve reviewed all these methods, and was not enthusiastic about any at the start. The Day Job Killer follows on from Affiliate Project X, and is a thorough review of some really interesting undercover techniques that don’t require you to have a web site. What you do need is quite a bit of time to do your research and find the best keywords and advertisements to run.

The good thing about it is that you do not need to spend a lot of money on tools or products. You can do most of this research just by surfing the net. Some of these methods require you to be a bit hard-nosed, and not worry if you upset a few people.

The Whizz Kid himself, Steven, is an upstart, who is doing very well out of affiliate sales, but he spends the first 20 of the 50 pages telling you about things most people who have read a bit of stuff on the internet and bought a few e-books will know. Later on he does talk about some methods you can use but they are not new.

Whizzkid is self-serving

In fact, the only thing you get that is new, so far as I could see, is a web page or two to sell his Whizzkid book – the thing you’ve just bought. Well, that is affiliate marketing, to be sure, but it is self-serving. No doubt loads of people have got the web site, dutifully signed up at quite an expensive web host, and then found that they did not make any money. I’m sure you can make money this way, but it is limited, and the Whizzkid book will not be in vogue for very long. No, that is not the best way of starting as an affiliate.

OK, then what about the Guru Slayer? Well, I will say this is different. It follows on from Dominating CB. Yes, this is about affiliate marketing, but Andrew also reckons you need our own products to make money on the internet, and in this case the affiliates are the people selling your product. He gives some advice on how to go down this route, and this is an interesting way of building a business. He does make the point that you need to work his methods as a business to make money with affiliate or product sales.

Andrew also shows how he made $39,014.56 in affiliate sales selling, guess what? Day Job Killer! This should get you excited, but there is a slight catch – you need a big list of potential buyers before you can use this method, and he has just that. Sure, he shows you what you need to do to build your list, and so long as you are patient you can make this work.

But I did find some really good stuff in here, such as:

Pitfalls to avoid, and how to maximize profits – page 21;

The best places to advertise – pages 31-32;

He gives his methods for getting traffic beginning on page 33;

Several of his actual letters that made him money – these are scattered through the book:

On Page 48 he reveals some really good affiliate programs that pay well and make good sales – I will tell you here and now that I have never seen any other marketer reveal this sort of stuff. So these things get Guru Slayer the thumbs up.

Once you put all this together, you will see that here is something that will help you make money on the internet. I recommend the Guru Slayer so long as you are ready to build a list of subscribers, and want to build a business.

On the other hand, if you want to start making money straight away, I recommend Day Job Killer. The methods Chris uses can be duplicated by anyone, and so long as you keep a tight control of your advertising budget, you can make good money with the minimum of ’stuff’.
