I’m in the market for a 22" monitor, I’m set on Samsung but the models are a bit confusing, specially since some in my local market have different model designations and specification than of their counterparts in the internet reviews and markets.
now, what I already have is a 2232BW, 2ms and 3000:1 contrast, and I want another 22", one of the monitors will be used for gaming mostly. the other for watching movies and browsing the internet and little Graphic works…
my options are between two models:
a. 8000:1 2ms
b 15000:1 5ms
so the priority over response time and contrast ratio comes in, and the question of which purpose my older monitor will serve better… and of course, most important of them all, which of the a or b monitors should I buy for the other purpose.
