Website traffic and sales is not just enough to par when starting affiliate marketing. If you spend most of your time selling e Books, you will have low monthly income because they have low cost.
Just go out on the Internet and look at the prices you see. Each one of them usually ranges from $10-100. If you’re getting a healthy 20% commission, you’re only making $20 a sale. If you plan on making a healthy income each week, you need to sell anywhere from 25-50. Is that really feasible? Well, not if you have a new website where traffic is low.
But on the other point of view, you can sell low priced products and make more money, which you are an expert in affiliate marketing. This is because you already know how to run and promote them properly for high profit. All you have to do is find a hot product and watch its sale one by one. There is a big difference between getting 100 sales a month instead of 5 to 20. You can pass the low priced product if you consider yourself a small affiliate marketer.
The technique is to find as many hot products with good commission rates as you want. You can do the math for your self after that, but you have $500 and making 10 sales a month; there is an additional $1000 extra on a 20% commission. Just remember that you need more effort to sell a high priced product
There are many ways to do this, but a good place to start is with free reports, newsletter, and other useful techniques that are similar. When you set these up, it’s important for the text to be suggestive and push your prospects to take the next step. However, you have to do this without sounding like a complete sales pitch or most of them will turn away. We suggest getting yourself an auto responder that is setup with your free gift. This way you will be able to build a rapport with them more than one time. Once you have a healthy amount of followers, start your ad campaign.
Studies have shown that doing these methods increase the number of traffic in a website. Also you want to have discounts to make your costumers feel that you are helping them. This will result to more traffic and money. Most merchants don’t offer a money back guarantee because their product has a low price; you must see the big picture here. That is one reason why you will have low sales.
Then again, you can come across some of the low priced products that do offer all the extra services. If you do, these are the kinds you want to take advantage of and sell them while selling higher priced items.
Conclusion, What it comes down to is when you first start out; selling low priced products isn’t a wise business decision. The idea is to make as much money as you can and having it come from all different directions. So if you find a few hot products that are cheap, add them to your site. When they’re blended in with higher priced products, your potential prospects will have a choice, which is always a good thing. In the end you’ll find yourself with more sales and more money.
